Rusredmet Group has manufactured process equipment for industrial facilities dedicated to the treatment of Class I and Class II hazardous waste.

At the end of last year, two large-scale hazardous waste treatment facilities were commissioned as part of a joint initiative by Rosatom’s mining division and the Federal Environmental Operator. Each facility has a capacity of up to 50,000 tonnes of Class I and II hazardous waste per year and is located in the Saratov and Kurgan regions, respectively.

Rusredmet Group JSC acted as the equipment manufacturer, designing and producing more than 200 units of process equipment. The company’s production facilities operated continuously throughout the project, while Rusredmet specialists supported the project for over a year on a 24/7 basis, covering equipment manufacturing, configuration of waste neutralization lines, and supervision of installation and commissioning.

The project strengthens modern hazardous waste management infrastructure and supports environmental protection, regulatory compliance, and ESG principles through the safe treatment of high-risk industrial waste.
