An innovative project focused on the recovery of rare earth metals from electronic scrap has been launched in the Samara Region.

The project aims to develop and demonstrate advanced technologies for recovering rare earth elements from electronic waste, contributing to sustainable resource utilization and the development of critical materials supply chains.

Within the project, Rusredmet Group acted as the developer of design and technical documentation for several units of the pilot-scale facility and as the supplier of process equipment. The scope of supply included extraction, filtration, reactor, tank, and laboratory equipment.

Equipment delivery was completed with successful supervision of installation and commissioning carried out by Rusredmet specialists at the project site.

The project has been granted federal-level status and is expected to create significant opportunities for the development of the industrial sector and circular economy initiatives in Russia.
